Configuration Guide Lines in New Modems
(Model NO.: DNA-A213 Wireless)
(ADSL2+ CPE/Router)
1. IP addresses of CPE: a) On Ethernet Port: 192.168.1.1
b) On USB Port : 192.168.1.1
i.e. Two IP addresses are allotted to ADSL Router(CPE), Hence IP address to be configured to computer (TCP/IP properties) will be:
2. TCP/IP properties setting on computer.
a) Obtain IP address automatically. It will OK.
b) If you want to assign IP address to Computer manually then:
IP address: 192.168.1.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1 …………. For Ethernet Port
Or 192.168.1.2 ………..... For USB Port
Primary DNS: 203.94.243.70 / 202.159.219. 229
Secondary DNS: 203.94.227.70 / 202.159.217.198
3. Guidelines to install USB Driver:-
1. First start installing USB Driver.
2. During the installation process, you will be asked to connect the ADSL Router through USB port.
3. Than connect the Router Physically to your Computer/Laptop
1. Type http://192.168.1.1 in address bar of Internet Explorer.
2. In User Name type admin and password admin, click OK.
3.The Modem page will display.
4. Click on Advanced Setup on your left panel.
5. Check the Remove Dialog Box, and click on Remove Button.
6. Now Click on Add Button.
7. In Port – 0 VPI:- 0 and VCI:- 32
Enable VLAN Tagging - NO CHECK ON THE BOX
Service Category: - UBR without PCR
Enable Quality of Service – CHECK ON THE BOX
And click on Next.
8. Select PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) and LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING
Click on Next.
9. In PPP Username type User’s B/B Tel. No. And PPP Password type User’s C.A No. in Authentication Method: PAP,
Enable Fullcon NAT - CHECK ON THE BOX
Bridge PPPoE Frames Between WAN and Local Ports (Default Enabled)
MTU Size [576-1492] - 1492
Click Next
10. Check on Enable NAT
Don’t Enable Firewall
Don’t Enable IGMP MULTYCAST
Check on Enable WAN Service Dialog Box.
Service Name - MTNL
Click Next.
11. Click on Save Button.
12. Click on Save/Reboot Button.
13. Wait for Two Minutes..
14. Again Device Info page will display.
19. Click Device Info Button then Select WAN Tab and Check the Status
Will be
UP, Now Close the Internet Explorer Page.
Wireless / Security ADSL Router Setting
1. Type http://192.168.1.1 in address bar of Internet Explorer.
2. In User Name type admin and password admin then click OK.
3. Click wireless tab and Click on Basic
Check on -Enable wireless SSID: - any name
CUNTRY: - INDIA MAX CLIENT: - 16
4. Click on Save/Apply
5. Click on Security
6. SSID: - Same as basic page
7. NETWORK AUTHENTICATION: - SHARED
8. WEP ENCRYPTION: - ENABLE
9. ENCRYPTION STRENGTH: - 64-bit Select
10. CURRENT NETWORK KEY: - 1
11. NETWORK KEY 1:- Five digit {letter or no}
12. Click on Save/Apply
13. Click on MANAGEMENT tab {in left side}
14. Click on Save/Reboot tab {in left side}
15. Click on Save/Reboot tab {in middle page}
